Collaborative Law in Minnesota

Collaborative law is a developing practice where spouses attempt to resolve their divorce issues in a non contentious way. In the collaborative process, husbands, wives, their attorneys, and any other collaborative professionals working with the family, agree to resolve all issues of their case without court proceedings. They work together to develop an agreement that will work for the entire family after the divorce.

This approach can decrease the negative emotions associated with many family law issues and reduce the amount of money spent on legal costs. If the collaborative process does not work other options to resolve the divorce or family law issue are still available. If you are interested in pursuing a collaborative law approach, please contact our firm to set up a consultation to determine if this approach is right for you.
